Of
the three courses, "The
Sea" is
the most famous. The view from
the green on
hole 6 is fabulous. Located
on the edge of a cliff and
designed by the architect,
Yves Bureau, the green looks
over the charming harbour of
Port-en-Bessin and
offers a panoramic view of
the Allied
"artificial harbour" of Arromanches D-Day that
is still present. You
can view the English Channel
on hole 2, a wonderful par
3 that has a view on the ancient
fortifications of the Tour
Vauban. On hole 6, the Channel
can be seen and if you turn
around you will face hole 7
- a long par 4. You can also
view the sea from the green
on hole 9 (see photo) the tee
off is located just behind
the water obstacle.
The blue of the sea and the
green of the hedgerows are
the primary colours of this
unique course which allow
golfers of all levels to truly
enjoy the game.
